[Sept 20th
‘11] Our school athletics
team competed today in the
Ferrybank Primary Schools Cross Country Championships held in the RSC. We had
boys entered in all races from 1st to 6th class ranging
in distance from 200m to 800m. Once again this year everyone tried their best
and fortunately we had many individual winners. At the end of the day we were
awarded the trophy for “Best Boys School” ….much to the delight of all the
whole team. Thanks to Mr Doran and Mrs A Brennan for looking after the team
today. Well done lads! 2.
[Nov 15th

our U13
Gaelic Football Team were crowned Eastern
Champions following our defeat of Holy Cross Tramore
1-5 to 2-1 in a closely fought final of the Waterford Primary Schools U13
Football League. Our next challenge will be the County Final in a few weeks time. Good Luck lads!! 3.
[Mar 13th

tonight at the Tower Hotel. Br. Anselm came to Waterford in 1983 and worked
in St. Declan's before moving to St. Stephen's where he served as principal.
The St. Declan's team were successful on the night and became the first
school to claim the Br. Anselm Memorial Trophy. 4.

Mini 7’s Hurling final. After many years of effort we finally managed to put
our hands on this elusive trophy. Well done to the whole team and to their
managers Mr Fitzgerald and Mr Kirby. 5.
